Hi Andra. Install the program at home and create your quiz. Then copy the entire QuizBoxes folder to a USB stick and take that stick to church and copy that folder to the church PC. It’ll run just fine.

You can even run it from the USB stick if you don’t want it on the PC, the program is portable. Hope it goes over well.

Hello, I just installed your fantastic program on my home computer and I want to create a game for the young adult group to play at our church. If I download this program on the church computer is there a simple way that I can play the game I created at home on the church computer or do I have to create the game on the church computer????? Wow, I don’t know if I could have made that less confusing. I want to be able to create a game file from my home and then just upload it onto the computer at church.

Thanks for the response, I am actually using the SRN buzzer. Will be sure not to click the quizboxes window next time.

Assuming you are using the Student Response Network buzzer, just make sure you click on the buzzer when it appears to acknowledge it – don’t click on the QuizBoxes window to send the buzzer to the back.

Hi Stu,
Thanks for such a great game. I am thinking of using this during one of our fun-times at work, I am sure everyone would be thrilled by it. Thanks also for the buzzer.
How do I reduce the display of the game so that I can see the buzzer? The quiz boxes take up the whole screen and even though at first the buzzer appears on it, once I click the quiz boxes, the buzzer is no longer visible. I want to be able to see the buzzer at all times.

Because you saved your Quiz file into a folder that already contained another quiz that had images in it. Try move your quiz file into the Quizzes folder.

Hello! I am wondering why my questions in the second and 3rd categories have not been saved only the answers. what I got in stead where images. what should I do next?

Hi Gina. I’m pleased you find QB useful. Currently videos in questions and a built-in timer is not available. In terms of a timer though, you could use a separate timer if you like. I can’t give you an ETA for when they might be included, but they are on the wish-list.
