Hi Lise.

That’s not right. I just downloaded it and the default skin is the noomal one shown above. “Sydney” is one of the optional skins included. When you go to the Skins menu, is there one called “1Jeopardy Original”? if yes, double-click it.

Just downloaded the program… but the default skin is not the default I would expect… it is Sydney… I went to the skins folder and it appears that the images for the default version are missing… can you make these available for download please as I need a less cluttered look for my lower functioning students.

Hi Ken. Thanks for sharing the link. For Final Jeopardy Music, I rename the 30 second music file as JFJ.MP3 and place it in the same folder as the quiz I am hosting. It then displays the sound icon on the question panel and I just click that when the question appears to start the Jeopardy thinking music going. Works well.

Can you remove or replace the “Stu’s Double Jeopardy” title? Unfortunately no. That’s the price you pay for getting the program for free.

Anyone who needs theme music to play off to the side: The website http://www.televisiontunes.com/ has any theme music you can think of to download. The 30-35 second ones are the theme often played in final jeopardy as they get 30 seconds to write. Others are opening credits over the years. With a little practice you can get good opening the final jeopary question, and then click on something to the side to start up the tick down in Windows Media or Real or some other audio player.

Hi Melissa. There’s a couple of ways. You can setup Jeopardy on the classroom PC and set it up at home. Make your quiz at home and save it. When you make the quiz in the first place, it asks you where you want to save it and what you want to call it. It can go in any folder, even the desktop. the file ends up as a .txt file called whatever you called it. Find that file in My Computer and copy it to a USB stick or email it to yourself. Back at school, place that file in any folder (but the Jeopardy\quizzes folder is the best to use) and then open that quiz file. Simple!

Even easier, don’t setup Jeopardy on either PC. Set it up on a folder on your USB stick and run the whole thing from there in any computer. All your quizzes AND the program can follow you around, ready to be played from the stick itself. Hope that answers.

I am so excited to find this! I was searching for jeopardy type games to play with my 6th graders. I am giving a quiz next week and I want to use this as a review game. I just downloaded it to my classroom computer. If I want to make quiz files at home (on my own laptop) do I need to download it to my own computer, make the quiz file and save to my flashdrive? I am not sure how to transfer the quiz file from my flashdrive to the classroom computer so we can play it in school. Please help!

Love the new version—-I have used this in my college classroom to review before exams on books like “Rocket Boys” and “A Place to Stand”. I have 28 students in 4 groups. The group captain selects the question and the group has 30 seconds to discuss the lower questions up to a minute for the 1000 point question and the daily double. This has been an incredibly fun activity for the students who created the questions. Much interaction is visible. Thank you—I have just donated to the cause and am so appreciative of your efforts.
